Club Governance
The Club is governed by an elected Management Committee that meets monthly to set strategic direction and oversee the Club's day-to-day operations.
The Committee is responsible for ensuring the Club operates effectively, supports its members and continues to grow rowing in the region.
Club Structure & AGM
Townsville & James Cook University Rowing Club is an incorporated association.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held within 6 months of the end of the Club's financial year (31 October).
The AGM provides members with the opportunity to review the Club's performance, elect Committee members, and contribute to the Club's future direction.
Affiliation
Townsville & JCU Rowing Club is an affiliated member of Rowing Queensland, the peak governing body for rowing in Queensland.
This affiliation ensures the Club operates under state-wide standards for competition, coaching and safety.

Member Insurance
All financial members of the Club are covered by insurance through Rowing Queensland.
Members must ensure their membership fees are up to date in order to remain eligible for insurance coverage.
